Our Doctor

I-Ortho is proud to introduce Dr. Lindsay Pfeffer

Lindsay Pfeffer, D.M.D., M.B.E., M.S.

Coming from a family of dentists back on the east coast, Dr. Pfeffer decided on dental school after working in Cancer Research.  She missed the personal interaction that she saw in her family’s dental offices.  This prompted her to obtain her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from an Ivy League institution while also obtaining a Masters in Biomedical Ethics from University of Pennsylvania's School of Medicine.  Here she served numerous leadership roles while winning 1st in the Nation for her scientific research and was one of 5 nationally to Intern at the American Dental Association. She carried out an Internship at two Dental Hospitals in London before being selected by her 1st choice,  the University of Southern California for Hospital Residency.   Here she worked with veterans, trauma victims, medically compromised, cancer patients and in the operating room for those patients with special needs. After which she continued on as the Top 1% to be accepted into Orthodontic Residency. From there Dr. Pfeffer pursued not only professional success but also has been recognized for her wide-spread philanthropy in the community. Winning numerous awards, serving on multiple boards and her continuous recognition in magazines and news sources, she has been a leading force in Dentistry for California as well as those less fortunate.  When she's not in the office she Volunteers as Faculty for UCSD's Free Clinic and provides free screening and treatment to those in need monthly.  Apart from dentistry much of her free time is spent outside of her profession, helping foster youth and the homeless.

After completing her orthodontic residency Dr. Pfeffer joined two of the oldest and largest private practices in North Dallas, where she ran it alongside with its owner. Wanting to get back to the west coast, Dr. Pfeffer was ecstatic to find Dr. Moser whose treatment philosophies and bedside manner were identical. Since that time Dr. Pfeffer has continued a great tradition of happy patients and community service. Her focus is on creating smiles both in and outside the office by helping fund community projects, education and recreation. As a long time swimmer, Dr. Pfeffer enjoys anything by the water and lives for moments where she can make patients laugh. In her spare time, Dr. Pfeffer has a strong commitment to volunteerism even outside of dentistry. Currently the practice has given back over 12% of its profits to our local community and her volunteer focus has been on improving the lives of foster youth, an issue dear to her own heart. Overall Dr. Pfeffer wants her patients and staff to be happy, so that they can spread that happiness to others!
